So I took plan B at the beginning of July and had my period on time from what i can remember. about 2 weeks after that I spotted for a few days. I was supposed to get my period on/around the 10th so I'm a bit late. Is it normal to have your period thrown off and come way late after taking plan B or do things generally resume to normal? not sure if i should start worrying or not....

  1. yes... totally, but 12 days its not a little bit.... normally it reallly messes your period and then you get new "dates".... dont worry

  2. It can throw you off a bit, but just for that one cycle.  It is supposed to leave your system fast enough to where you should be able to recover pretty quickly.

I'm totally not a big fan of Plan B.  It made me sick and nauseous the time I took it, and I still got pregnant! Total waste of money!

  3. Never taken it. But logically Plan B could do that.

It is a very large dose of hormones. Hormones are of course what control your menstrual cycle.

  4. it does b/c you have a period when you take the pill so you wont get pregnant
