Does planned parenthood accept bluecross for insurance?

does anyone know? or has anyone used blue cross to cover there planned parenthood appointments?

  1. instead of calling bluecross. call your local planned parenthood. they should accept it but you will have to pay the co-payment.


  2. I thought Planned Parenthood was for people who didn't have insurance or much money? Thats usually where teenagers go when they're too scared to ask their parents for birth control, or need a pregnancy test.

    If you have insurance, you'd probably be better of going to a traditional doctor.

  3. Call the 800# on your health card and ask them. They will be able to give you a list of providers. It's often on their web site.  

    However, I think Planned Parenthood will probably be "out of network" and would be covered under those guidelines.
