Does plant machinery have an owners title?

we have recently purchased some plant machinery such as back hoes front loaders and excavators, should have they come with a title or do we need to get one and how

I am not aware of a "title" for this type equipment. Normally you keep a copy of the machines serial numbers and bill of sale.
