Does playing a 360 mess up a plasma tv by playing on it?

some guy at best buy said that playing a xbox 360 messes up a plasma tv. Is this true?

As long as you don't  leave it on a pause screen for too long(several days) you should be fine.

No, absolutely not, the 360 and ps3 were designed to play on plasma and lcd tv's.  The only thing he could be talking about is if you leave it on a screen and don't move it (such as a pause screen or just leaving it sitting in a non-moving area) then it can cause the screen to 'burn in' or leave the image even if you change the channel.  You can fix this by white washing it which is displaying a white image for an extended amount of time.  To the point, no it won't mess it up unless you leave it for more then 12 hours on the same screen
