Does playing music from iTunes etc. make my machine slower being on Answers too?

  1. not that i know of. even when the computer crashes itunes sometimes still works


  2. yes iTunes takes up MASSIVE amounts of thinkspace. just click ctrl+alt+ delete to bring up the task manager to find out how much memory its using.

  3. It may slow down your computer for loading programs, although is unlikely to increase the time it takes to load pages on the internet, such as different questions, unless you are downloading podcasts or songs on iTunes.

  7. Yes. When you're doing two things at once it can slow your computer down. If you have too much music get an external hard drive so that you can put it on the external and delete it off your computer. However, if you don't have an external don't do this yet. Otherwise, it will free up space on your computer making it go faster.

  10. right click on bottom tray bar /task manager /processes and see for yourself whats your comp. is doing for memory usage and cpu usage ....

  11. yes it does. its all about your ram on your computer. that meanse how many programs it can run at the same time. but don't worry your comp isnt dying lol

    Click The Performance Tab And Look At The Cpu Usage (It Shouldnt Be Anything Steady Over 50%) Gl.
