  1. Snappers will eat almost anything that has taste or smell. Just go with the flow and bring a big stick.

  2. Friend of mine that lives in the Lake Worth area of Florida say's them Snappin' Turtles go for anything ;)...< ' ( (( > <

  3. I think anything attracts snapping turtles!

  4. Haven't we already covered this? Anything that a catfish wants, a snapping turtle does too.

I have found that powerbait catfish dough doesn't really do a good job myself. Not even a single nibble. I've found that Dip (aka Punch) baits work best when it comes to store bought baits. Nothing beats the chicken liver though.

I've never had a snapping turtle bite on my Dip bait when using a Dip Bait worm. Of course, the cats usually grab this as soon as it hits the bottom, so the turtles haven't had time to grab it...lol. Maybe give that a shot and see if it works for you. Just be sure to change the leader out on the dip bait worm if you try it, because they put a cheap leader on it and I lost a HUGE cat to the knot coming undone. All you need to do it is a sewing needle and some leader line.

  5. Ive never had any problems with powerbait and catfish, i have with real  baits such as chicken liver, spam etc, there is still a chance that a snapping turtle could take your bait when using berkley.
