Question:

Does pregnancy age your body?

Diane, good advice. I gave you a thumbs up and you're right most women do put aside their own personal worries because they want to have a child and want to be mothers.

Personally I just don't think motherhood is for me. I'm in my mid twenties and really thinking about it, but I don't think I will go for motherhood simply because there are too many sacrifices required in becoming a mother.

Thanks for your input Diane.

  1. Whoever is asking these kinds of questions is not ready to become a mother. Once you're ready, you don't care what pregnancy does to your body. I mean obviously you care that's why you make a plan to work-out after you have a baby, etc. but you don't really care about stretch marks...

  2. Pregnancy doesn't age your body, but it does change it in many ways.

  3. Not as much as raising the child does.

  4. I don't know if " age your body" is the right words to use. But I would say that it puts your body to the ultimate test of all tests. Your body is constantly changing....just as the life of your baby changes, grows and gets bigger. Because you have to be healthy for not just yourself but for your child as well.
