Does preparation H expire?

I have some that's been in the cabinet for quite some time, and I was wondering if it's still good or not.

Creams like Prep H begin to break down and separate as they age.  They may look runny or more granular or even look separated.  When that occurs--its definitely time to discard the product.  A tube that is a few months beyond it's published date and still looks good is OK.

look on the container- it should have an expiration date  on it

Yes it does.  The expiration date will either be on the box or on the end of the tube its self. So take a look before you use it.
