I travel to Germany frequently. They have monuments to the holocaust, display photos, documents and other items from the concentration camps.  Go to Dachau outside Munich, it is now a museum dedicated to the Holocaust.

Most Germans I have spoken to about the Holocaust say it is something their grand parents did, and they don't understand why it happened.

I heard a rumor that german schools teach that it never happened but the operative word would be rumor lol.
