Does proactiv solution really work?

Question

my mom ordered proactiv solution for me about a week ago and as far as i've seen on tv it looks like it works very well for all the users.

i should be getting it soon and i read that many people say it clears your acne but leaves your skin very dry and irritated, and then there are another bunch of people that say it works very well and its worth the buy.

im left conused and without a solid answer to my question!

does anyone know for sure what the answer is?

and what should i do if it does en up leaving my skin dry and irritated?

It depends on your skin, but for me it didn't work.

I don't have much pimples... but a few here and there.

It did absolutely nothing to my face but made it dry, and for some reason I started getting more zits!   The Proactiv Solution did not work for me.        I don't reccomend it.

Commercials may fool you... but you can tell it's just video effects or whatever they call it and MAKEUP!   Proactiv DEFINATELY does not make your skin look like that!!

If your skin ends up irritated, return it.   Don't they have that 30-day trial guarantee thing?

Good luck anyway.  You might as well give it a shot... you could be a miracle and actually have Proactiv work on you!

    Proactive doesn't work at all. I tried it once for about 2 years, and it only made my skin a lot worse. The only looks like it worked for the people in the proactive commercial because makeup is a very powerful thing. If you look at the people's "Before" picture, you can see they have a ton of scarring from the acne, but then when you see them saying, "Oh, it really works, my skin is so clear now. It's amazing.", they don't have any scarring. And there's no way to get rid of scars. Plus, nobody's skin looks that perfect. Not even celebrities.

My friend says that her brother uses it, and it works very well. It may sting a little though, if your skin is very bad.

in 3 days, my skin was really cleared up, but the lotion, (the smallest bottle) you don't really need that unless you have really dry skin, i only use the other two things, because that makes my skin greasy, but over all it did work well for me anyways, and i had black heads, not really zits or anything,to me, i still buy so its worth the money. good luck!

Well... It worked for me while at the same time leaving my skin red and irritated. I do know other people who have used it and it worked great for them. It really just depends on your skin type. Since you said your mom already ordered it for you, you can test it out when you get it. If it irritates your skin like it did mine, use it once a day instead of twice a day. That helped me a lot! some say it does

and some say it doesn't.

my brother used it, didn't work.

his girlfriend used it, didn't work

it makes your face really dry. and brings out all your acne to the surface, so you look like **** for like a week or two, then it starts clearing.

i'd rather get a few pimples here an there then have that **** happen to me..haha =]

depends on ur skin...it worked pretty good for me (and it didnt dry my skin) but my friend tried it and it made her skin all dry and flaky
