If you have comprehensive coverage, yes you are covered less your deductible.  Some states like MA and FL waive your deductible.  Check with your agent.

All auto insurance carriers are mandated to cover windshield damage.  The name of the company makes no difference and the windshield damage is not subject to the deductible.

if you are carrying comprehensive coverage they do.  if its a small chip they will waive the ded.  if it needs to be replaced your ded will apply
