  1. The official position of most urologists is that vasectomy does not increase prostate cancer risk. Some studies suggest a link. Most do not support a link.

The official position is that vasectomy is safe, harmless, and has no effect on sexual function, which is clearly not true for all men.

Do your own research by going to pubmed (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez... and search the medical literature for yourself.

  2. my husband and sons have had vasectomies with no cancers.

  3. nope...they even tried to link it to dementia...I wonder what their agenda is

  4. I m********e my way to a healthy prostate...

I don't believe that having the tubes snipped would interfere.

  5. No, not really.  The connection is another "urban legend" created by flawed logic.  Most men that have had vasectomies are over 40.  I once read that almost half of men over 40 in the USA, have had vasectomies.  Most men that have prostate cancer are over 50.  It stands to reason that many men that had vasectomies could also have prostate cancer.  But that has nothing to do with increasing risk.
