    not directly.

    on the other hand, it does instill a sense that we should take care of what we have,

    that should be worth something.

  3. depends really....some of them have plants grown all over them or are in dense forests.

    truthfully, nope...its more of a cultural and tourism purpose

  5. Preservation of historic sites in its self is not of any benefit to the natural environment but it is a benefit to the anthropological environment.  The environment is not just the air and water, it is all things in the environment, including our history.

    Important events in history have made us who we are as a species and a society.  History is not just cultural.  The cites that remain help to remind and teach us the lessons of the past.
