Does puberty effect your thoughts?

Question

If so, could you give me a few examples?

I'm a 13 year old boy, and IM GETTING REALLY CONFUSED

There are some thoughts in my head, like, oh, i like my mom now

and its getting really annoying, is this normal?

You will be fine, just try to control those hormones as they come along.

For boys, I think it does a lot definitely. Like they start thinking a lot about  girls and stuff. >_>

I know its normal, but I never understood what people meant by "confusing thoughts" because I really never had those through that age. Once in a while I would get mad for no reason (mood swings I guess) or a voice crack. It will eventually go away though, its only temporary.

depends on how u like your mom other then that that's normal. check out a few website about puberty that will give you more information or  even books in the library.

during puberty your hormones are really imbalanced, so you have a sudden excess of those thoughts.  it's a phase, but you'll have similar thoughts for the rest of your life.  

liking your mom is, apparently, quite typical; Freud (one of the famous pyschologists) deemed it the "oedipus complex", after a greek myth; basically, it says that all men, deep down, want to killl their fathers and sleep with their mothers.

Yes, it is perfectly normal...  You will probably get pretty annoyed with your parents, especially your mom.  You'll also get really interested in girls, and... stuff... yeah.  Trust me when I say, you don't want to do anything stupid that you'll regret later.

Yes. Especially being a boy from all the experience of boyfriends throughout the years going through puberty I'd say yes.  OI'm told you just get urges to want to do things and for a long time you have images* in your head.  Even being a girl sometimes that happens.  The part about liking your mom will go away soon on it's own or when you get your first girlfriend I'm sure!
