  1. Punching walls barefisted is not a good idea at all. It might strengthen your bones if you use exactly the right power, but if not, it might result in capillary cracks that weaken you whole bone structure and lead to a hand fracture.

Besides, punching walls is pure poison for your joints, so don't do it.

Train on a heavy bag or do push-ups on your fists (this strengthens the bones and the skin on your knuckles without a punctual stress)

  2. The American Council on Exercise's Personal Trainer's Manual indicates:

"According to Wolf's Law, bone is capable of adjusting its strength in proportion to the amount of stress placed on it. If heavy loads, such as in resistance training, are applied over long periods of times, bones with ample blood supply will become more dense, with increased collagen fibers and mineral salts.

"On the other hand," says the trainer's manual, "if bone is not subjected to stress, as in individuals with sedentary lifestyle or in the absence of gravity (as in space flight) bones will become less dense over time as mineral salts are withdrawn from bone."

However, you must exercise care. You could put yourself in danger of developing arthritis later on in life. Make sure to bind your wrists and strike with proper form.

  3. Probably a good way to break your hand.

  4. sly stallones knuckles are permanently flattened from punching the beef in the first rocky movie over 30 years ago.

    sand is better.

  5. I personally never tried it but think it might do the trick.

  6. No but it shows a marked lack of intelligence.  Punching walls will do nothing that hitting a bag wouldn't do.  The bag would help your hands develop.   A wall would help them break.

  7. it might but it will also damage your hands. while some people might not think that the hands are so important they are a lot more important than you realize even beyond simply preforming the functions that they do. your fingers, toes, and other limbs have direct connections to your vital organs and if you damage your hands it has an affect on the rest of your body as well. if you want your hands to get tougher put on some gloves and punch a heavy bag. also don't train on your own b/c doing so just results in bad habbits go to a boxing gym

  8. It will bust up all the little bones in your wrist, and when you hit your 30's your hands might start to get shaky. Buy some hand wraps and wrap your hands then punch the wall till it cries in pain.

But id say just spend the money and go get a heavybag
