Does putting batteries in the fridge?

does putting you batteries ( Duracell) make them charge back up so you can use them again.

  2. No it wont charge them back up. The chemical reaction inside batteries is effected by heat but only in that it is easier for a battery to release its stored energy when it is warm than when it is cold.

  3. I dont think that it will charge them back up again but it will make it so they dont loose thier charge over time, at least while thier are in the fridge. So if you have batteries that just sit around the hous for years and years then this could help... lol, if you have room in your fridge. Also, you have to be careful not to freeze them, because then they will never work and  they can leak battery acid all over the place, and you cant warm them up to fast either, or you will have the same issues as freezing them. Its really kind of a royal pain.
