  1. no

it makes it more scary in my opinion becasue your hand held tightly around the bar can act as another safety factor.

  2. im different then most people. NOTHING scares me on rollercoasters. So my arms are always up. My theory on fear and rollercoaster is that its all in your mind. When your scared about omg i might fall out your body tenses up. Making the ride seem alot worse then it is. The "butterfly" feeling in your stop is caused by your mind b/c your scared. If you think this will be amazing and I'll have a blast you will! Keep your arms up and enjoy the ride. If you have to scream a bit and that will release the negative energy from your body and the strain your mind is putting on your body.

  3. If your talking about in  real life, Then personally I think it makes it more scary since it will give you the uncomfortable feeling of yourself falling out of the seat. I feel safer holding onto the fastener.

  4. it makes it more scary.........but its fun!!!

  5. uhm, no it makes it worse. but if you're constantly worried about whether you're going to fall out, then you won't be able to enjoy the ride. so start off holding on. then let go.
