Does putting ice cubes in your beer do anything to the alcohol?

  1. No, it just waters down the beer.

    The alcohol stays.


  2. No, the amount of alchol you are consuming still remains the same.

    For instance, if you added 50% by volume vodka to some orange juice and ice, the drink would taste weaker and there would be a greater quantity of liquid but the drink itself would still remain the same strength, 50% by volume.

    Adding things doesn't change the amount of alcohol a drink contains - unless you add more alcohol!

  3. Until the ice melts then the alcohol will be colder - when the ice melts the alcohol will be diluted more - you will still be drinking the same amount of alcohol if you drink the whole glass not matter how much ice you put in.
