Everytime I put my black shirts in the wash with my other clothes, they get covered in lint! It gets very annoying having to use a lint brush and shaver everytime. Also, i can never get the lint COMPLETELY off.

So is it true if i add like 1/2 cup of white distilled vinegar to the wash, it will help prevent the lint from clinging??

  1. Ok I had a TERRIBLE problem with lint from my white blanket clinging to my blue sheets. I washed them 5 times already, about 3 of the times with 1/2 C white vinegar. I finally see the results of no more lint balls! I also use dryer sheets in the dryer to further help the repelling of lint. Make sure you add the 1/2 C of vinegar to the RINSE cycle. It will rinse out completely and your clothes won't smell like vinegar. I would recommend washing the black shirt with other black and dark clothing items until you see results with the vinegar. Vinegar is cheap and worht giving a try!

  2. Yes, adding white vinegar to your laundry washing cycle helps to remove lint fromclothe
