Does quaker instant oatmeal maple and brown sugar have dairy in it?

i'm cutting out dairy from my diet and need to know if quaker instant oatmeal (maple and brown sugar) has any dairy in it. i read the ingredients and it doesn't seem like it, but you never know. thank you!

1. Brown sugar does not have casein in it. However, it may be worse for a vegetarian. Most of the cane-sugar is filtered with bone charcoal. To be safe, use Beet Sugar, sold as 'granulated sugar', molasses, raw sugar, or jaggery.

Normal brown sugar is a mix of cane-sugar and molasses.

2. Maple syrup may use animal fats as De-foaming agents. I don't think they use casein

3. You did not ask but most of the wines and alcohols do use Potassium Casein as a clarifiers. They may even use Isinglass (Fish byproduct)

4. From the label, it seems that Instant oat-meal does not have milk byroducts. Still we don't know the type of brown sugar or maple syrup. The label does not say any thing about being Kosher or suitability for Vegan to give any hint. You may write directly to Quaker Oats, I am sure they will respond to your query.
