Depending on the occasion, the Queen will go to church where she likes. Yes, there is a private chapel at all the palaces she owns, and yes, she does attend services at large cathedrals and churches when the occasion requires it.

the queen has chaples in the grounds of her "homes" but also attends externally  one to mention is the church at Balmoral which is open ................but as she is head of the church of england  she of course atttends church where she is at the time
