Question:

Does "Fright Fest" at Six Flags require a special ticket?

I'm looking for a bit of information on "Fright Fest" - the one at Great America in Illinois, specifically. Is a special ticket required? If so, do they do "twickets" for the event? What kind of hours do they operate during Fright Fest? And when is the best time to go for minimal crowding - as early in October as possible, I'd assume? (Obviously the last weekend of Oct. would be insane.)

Any other input you may have would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

  1. no, just a regular ticket, fight fest is through-out the parks. its open from 10-10 on the weekend of september/october

  2. yes!!!!!

  3. try checking themeparkcodes.com for a coupon

  4. I went last year to Fright Fest at the Six Flags in Valencia, California and it didn't require a special ticket or anything... Just general admission. I'm pretty sure that it was open the normal hours (10am-10pm) I hear it's really crazy at Fright Fest whenever you go.

I'm not sure what a twicket is...
