Question:

Does "I Love You" really mean anything to you or would you rather see it in 'actions'?

It's so overused with everything. People do one good thing and it's like "ah! I love you!"

So, does it still mean anything major to you? Or would you rather see it in someone's actions and not only words?

  1. you can't believe anything anyone says these days,

unless it's backed up by actions.

but yeah, I love you is definately overused these days.

  2. Personally I love it when a guy tells me he loves me but Its also great when he shows you how much he loves u. Just remember " I love you" are only words.

  3.   I agree: I Love You is, in fact, one of the most over-used phrases in the English language.

BUT... Sometimes, if said within the right context and not just said because of that 'awkward silence', it can be very romantic and meaningful. It is overused by a lot of my peers and sounds very immature - as most of my classmates could not even begin to realize the true extent to the feeling of 'love'.

To summarize: I Love You, when used at the right moment, for the right reasons, can be very romantic.

Hope this is of help to you. =)

  4. It means a lot to me, because I make a point not to overuse it.  So do most of the people I'm around.  I like to hear it, but also like to see it backed up by actions.  Words w/o action mean nothing

  5. I usually don't believe that someone loves me until they show me. I mean how could anyone feel loved just by words. There has to be something that person does to show me they love me. No one has to tell me when the wind is blowing, cause i can feel it. It's the same thing with love.

  6. Both. Because sometimes actions aren't always the clearest to me, but I feel like a direct and indirect assurance are needed. I just hate it when people just say it to get what they want though *grr*

  7. i guess u sed it.it has to be actions

  8. Words come easily to liars as well as those who may actually be sincere, so I prefer a person to show me they love me rather than to tell me so. Actions always speak louder than words. Trust. ';-)
