It's a natural spray that goes under your tongue that helps calm nerves, relax you, etc....well, that's what it is here in Australia anyway.

  1. Rescue Remedy is a bach flower remedy, so its a liquid version of a homeopathic. I guess you could say its similar to essential oils, but there are no essential oils in it.

5x dilution of various homeopathics suspended in alcohol. It's primarily designed for situations of intense trauma, such as car accidents, but it will relieve common anxiety and stress as well. I sometimes put a few drops in a cup of water and take it before bed to help me fall asleep on days when my mind is racing.

People will claim it works on the placebo effect and frankly, I don't care. Placebo effect is it working too.

  2. I used this after giving birth and dealing with post-natal depression. My depression was pretty severe, so for me it didn't work HUGELY, although it did help...then I realized there's a little alcohol in it...of course it helps relax you! haha! ;)

    good luck!

  3. I'ved used rescue remedy for yrs and it is wonderful when your in stressful situations, Also try taking the Bach Flower test to see what other remedies might be of value.

  4. Yes I used it for my trip to Canada  for panic attacks .Thank

    God  it worked lol

  5. I swear by it. I have a particularly severe hereditary panic and anxiety disorder, and for years I couldn't leave the house without having Xanax in my purse from the constant attacks.

Someone suggested Rescue Remedy to me, and I pretty much laughed in their face, even though I am very open to alternative therapies. It's just that my panic and anxiety was SO severe, that I doubted anything other than powerful tranquilizers could help me. But I went ahead and gave it a go, and I thank the gods everyday that I did!!

It works faster and longer than tranquilizers ever did, and I've ended up being able to gain a new level of stability as it works on the emotional and spiritual bodies, as well as just the physical. So it's getting to the root of the issue rather than just temporarily relieving it.

Everything doesn't work for everyone, but it's absolutely worth trying. I wouldn't leave home without it, and I've gifted it to many friends who are all now believers as well!

  6. If you are talking about the green paste that comes in a metal tin by Burt's Bees, then the answer is yes. I use Rescue Remedy on all minor cuts, bruises, bug bites, etc. that I get, and it heals them twice as fast.

If you are talking about the "calming" drops, I have never used them personally, but I work in animal rescue and we use the Rescue Remedy for pets on the animals we bring in and it calms them down a LOT. So, at least on animals, it works really well.

  7. personally i don't think it helped but i know people who swear by it -try using quiet life tablets if you're stressed out - these promote natural sleep too!

  8. It's a homeopathic version of essential oils.

Combining two useless healing philosophies in one high priced water spritzer.

But they have a lot of "testimonials" and lots of Hollywood celebrity's use it.  Who needs evidence with that kind of marketing strategy?
