I heard this as a rumor and I was just wondering if it was true.

  1. cheese

  2. The F-word in French is "baise".

    I'm guessing it's just a rumor.

  3. "Seal" in French is "phoque" and yes it sounds a bit like the "F-word"...depending where you live and your accent...

    (Pronounce it "Fock".)

  4. The French word for seal is le phoque, a masculine noun.  It is said like fok.  It also has the slang meaning, to labor at breathing.

Baise means "kiss," as in baiser, "to kiss." Baise is a masculine noun, but it is no longer used in decent company.  Embrasser is the contemporary way of saying "to kiss."
