Does "The Secret" really work?

It does for me, and in a big way, I had to give it some time.  Did you see the "Oprah" episode about it a couple of weeks ago?  The whole hour was about the exact question you've asked.  

I thought I saved the link for the video clip of it, but can't find it.  If you go to oprah.com, you can search for it.  It seems that after the shows she did last year, a lot of people didn't like the materialistic focus of applying the secret and many tried it and gave up quickly.  The last program focused on non-material applications of the secret, and most of the people they talked to said it took about a year for substantial results to show.

I've found it to be useful for both material and non-material things, especially the latter, and for those it took a few months for me to notice anything very different.
