  1. "No".  Because we don't say, "It's WATERING", but "It's RAINING", the answer is no.  WATER evaporates upward, (but may or maynot reach the "SKY") RAIN doesn't.

  4. yes it does. It's called the "water cycle." The rain water falls and runoff into a large body of water usually an ocean. Evaporates and rises into the atmosphere (which is still the rain water) and then condenses and falls to the ground again.

  5. Not normally, but some rain can be lifted upward if it gets caught in updrafts.  Hail can be formed in this fashion, as rain gets caught in an updraft and gets lifted up into sub-freezing air, causing the raindrop to freeze.

  6. Not here on earth, it evaporates back up into the sky where it collects in clouds. Mars on the otherhand, does have rain that goes up. Atmospheric pressure is low thus making water evaporate so quickly that it boils.
