  1. First, creationism seems largely based on Christianity's interpretation of the Old Testament. It was not so long ago that Bibles in England showed the time in days after creation, to the day, of each event in the bible.

Creationism implies, to my mind, a thorough and complete monitoring of humans by the being of God. A system in which obedience and faith are the primary operating dynamics. The Bible tells the truth, in every detail. And the Bible tells us how to live and behave in every detail.

The idea of reincarnation carries with it the idea of the progress of the soul, as it deepens and develops its understanding of life; really, as it progresses towards 'enlightenment' where one is able to step beyond the limitations of, at least, a human viewpoint. That is not the sort of freedom that Creationists would be comfortable with, so I think that if it were proven true, Creationism could not survive.

  2. I don't see a direct connection between reincarnation and the Creationist concept of how life arose. However, reincarnation would go hand in hand with the concept of life after death, and that idea lends support for other spiritual ideas such as spirits and God. Some of those who believe in God also believe in the Christian concept of Creationism, however most Christians don't believe in the concept of reincarnation. This is the only indirect connection I see.
