Does relaxing your hair really work? so frustrated!!!!?

Question

i have hair that has a lot of volume and i've tried straightening it but the sides still have a lot of volume and it overwhelms my face...

tried curling it didn't work ive spent sooooo much money on it

i dont know if relaxing it works for my hair which is thick with high high volume

it is so frustrating has anyone actually had a chemical relaxer at a salon done to their hair??

does it work and how long does it stay, how much does it cost and what is it called

the products i've tried haven't really helped, i also get it thinned which doesn't change it that much ... and i am just so sick of it i want to cut it aaaaaaall off it is so frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!

relaxing DOES NOT work all it does is burn your hair that is one of the worst things you can ever do to your hair try using some hair treatments go to sally beauty shop and buy sebastian 9 it really works and also some oils that will really work

relaxing actually does work. you should try it, at least them if it doesnt work nothing has gone wrong. a friend has had it done.

ok seriously, relaxing damages your hair sooo bad but the JAPANESE STRAIGHT PERM uses herb and botanicals (ALONG with chemicals but still) that dont ruin your hair. im 13 and my hair WAS a poodle until I literally came from the salon 20 min ago with my new japanese straight perm ;)

I've had relaxers and i have one in my hair i honestly don't know, when the hair styler does my hair it comes out amazing but once i wash it and try to style it like they do it always comes out frizzy and damaged looking but like i said when she does it it comes out great. I don't know if this helps but um it will stay in about two months and then you should get your roots done again.

relaxing your hair will make it damaged,believe me!i know a lot of people who relaxed their hair,and their hair became curly after a weeks..
