    EDIT..John S. T.R. could have written that in Latin..and I wouldn't have known the difference. I went back and tried to read it again. You could be right!!! (gasp)

  3. No, those are the enzymes the cut up the DNA molecules.  Restriction enzymes can be used to cleave DNA at target sites, and then DNA ligases can be used to splice them together.

    Enzymes which facilitate DNA replication are helicases, which split the double-helix into two separate strands, and DNA polymerase which builds the new strands.
