Does rice make you fatttt?

i eat small portion of white rice everyday...will i get fat? btw im on a diet..i eat cereal in the mornin then around 4 i eat rice most of the time (small portion) so yea will i get fatt?????????????????? or should i just cut rice out of my diet

  1. White rice will make you fat because of how it is processes.  If you eat brown rice it wont and it is very good for you too.

  6. no ... rice is relatively low in calories (although it IS a carb/starch), and eating it daily will help control cholesterol.  Although, you DO need to eat protein and fruits/veggies with each meal.  If all you eat are carbs & starch, you WILL gain weight (and be pretty sick too)
