  1. Rosetta stone is the key to decipher hieroglyphics.

    Egyptology began in 1799 when Napoleon invaded Egypt. His early archaeologists brought back to France  a huge  trove of relics, including Rosetta Stone, a slab basalt with the same inscription in three languages: two in Egyptian languages (Demotic and hieroglyphic) and Greek.

    For 15 centuries, scholars had studied hieroglyphics uncomprehendingly; but in 22 years, the brilliant French linguist Jean-Francois Champollion cracked the code. His discovery spurred intense interest in ancient Egypt...

  2. the arabic they have is veryyyy similar to Egyptian arabic..

  3. no, it teaches only the standard arabic. Egyptian arabic is simply a collection of dialects that can be found in the nile valey. this dialect is not a standard although it is widely understood among arabs.

    i advice you to concentrate on studying standard arabic, after that you can learn some words or pronounciations from any dialect you wish. standards arabic is understood by all arabs.

  4. Sigh.....The mathipation of the ruthipation is Egyptian arabic but its decoded in diafram..

    In other words yes a diff program or u can do it by urself

    Extanals = E, X , P

    While Diggoals =  K-L-J

    Its really easy but takes practice - good luck

  5. No, Ros Stone only teaches MSA arabic which is not spoken in most mid-east countries (its only written). You can get "tell me more" which is ranked higher than rosetta. TMM also does MSA but it introduces casual arabic (Egyptian) as well.
