Does rough s*x cause any health problems?

My long term boyfriend and I enjoy rough s*x play, nothing crazy, but some spanking, and some breast play (biting, slapping, pulling). The breast play sometimes leaves bruises, can any of it do any long term damage?

If you're fine with the pain and you don't mind having bruises then no.

Make sure you've got good excuses for where you got them though...that would be embarrasing.

As long as you and your partner are both comfortable with it there's no problem.  The only serious problem many people don't know about is to not let your partner blow air into your v****a.  You could develop what is called an air emboli causing a stroke.  Good luck and have fun.

Apart from possible broken bones from exotic positions, or bleeding from roughness and biting, I can't see how it could be harmful. Surely you both know when it gets out of hand.
