  4. I don't like that female body builders look, so I can safely say that running makes you:

    Slim- I've been running for years, but incorporating a little bit of weight training has done wonders for my body.

  7. Running on an incline can increase the calf muscle slightly. Well, it did for me anyway. Overall it will slim you down. Great overall exercise for every part of your body.

Running is catabolic, it doesn't build muscle it actually burns it if you do it regularly, this makes the body more efficient, bulky muscles use more oxygen and are not so good for running over distance, although the muscles in your legs may get smaller they will get stronger and have a lean/defined look to them.
