Okay so basically I've been running for about three weeks and my chest is getting smaller and my jeans are fitting tighter and i feel like my butt and thighs look bigger? Is this from running?

I have noticed the exact same thing. Two years ago, I was very trim and my family was in the process of moving. So, my regular workout routine got messed up and I decided to start running. After a year and a half of running (I averaged 12 to 13 miles per week...10/min/mile) I have noticed I am smaller on top but my jeans feel much tighter. My eating has remained the same. I know that they say that runners tend to eat more to compensate...I have tried to maintain a steady diet. From what I can tell, the few times where I haven't run, my pants begin to fit better. In short, I am planning on giving running a break and focus more on cardio. I am not a big person and do not want the rounder muscles...would prefer the straight, leaner muscles.
