Question:

Does running make your butt smaller?

I've recently started running, but my only problem is I would rather not loose my butt. I have a decent size one (not to be self-centered) and I want to tone up my legs and get my heart back in order. But will running make it smaller even if it's naturally big?

  1. yes running will help alittle. but try doing squats, squat jumps, and especially lunges (and alot of them) they will really tones your legs up and your butt.

  2. hope so !!!

    i really do

  3. haha i actually think it makes your butt a little bigger. well, i guess it depends on what kind of shape your but is in now.

before i started intense training for marathons, i had no butt. and what little butt i did have, it didn't really have any fat on it.

once i started training, but butt got bigger. not saggy or anything. just sort of higher and there was more too it. because of the muscle.

so, you'll just get more muscle in your butt. if your butt is made up of mostly fat right now, yeah, you're going to lose that. but you'll gain muscle.

  4. No you wont, but if you do to many leg excersises, then your butt will, so just run and youll lose it the leg fat.

  5. Yes, running will make it smaller.  Go bike riding.  Tones up the legs.
