Does running train abs?

Does running / jogging train your abs? if so what kind of running as in sprinting, high knee running thiny or any others

i was thinking about jogging for maybe 20mins then sprinting for 10mins 2-4 times a week to start off.

  1. Running definitely affects abs.. in fact, running affects more muscles than any other activity..

    as for how much?.. it depends on the intensity..

    if you are a sprinter, your abs will definitely being exerted.. also, your breathing depends heavily on abs, and along with that, your muscles right above them....
