  1. yes cause salt transfers heat easily.


  2. No.It is my practical experience. I have designed a milk boiler *** coffee maker.Where the steam coming out after heating the milk was used to bru coffee .It was working well in good drinking water.We have not got satisfactory results in salt water.

  3. No.  Adding salt raises the boiling point of water so that a for a given amount of power it takes longer for the water to boil.  This is one of the colligative properties of solutions, and it does not depend on salt being the solute.

    This is stuff that you would learn in the first semester of physical chemistry.
