  1. Actually, Saudi Arabia is investing heavily in solar since in addition to its' vast but finite oil reserves, it also has some of the sunniest areas in the world. They have even invested in some solar projects in the USA where our government dragged their proverbial feet. While they still have income, they seem to be using much of it wisely and with forthought.

  2. Ha, you crack me up, do you think the worlds biggest supplier of fossil fuels is going to try and convert energy use to green energy?

  3. Your asking one of the most important questions I've read on this site yet! I'm not sure what the official opinion is on this. But consider, We are going to stop , or slow GW and one way is to stop, or slow the use of oil ! And America is a leading consumer of oil right? OK so let's say America quits using oil altogether. And because the world is getting along so well right now everybody else will follow suit. Right? wait a minute, the world really isn't getting along right now. What would happen if less oil was used. The price would go down. Basic laws of supply and demand! That would mean other less financially endowed countries would be able to afford it. But they wouldn't do that because every bodies on the same page when it comes to GW, Right? I don't think so! I think other countries would use this as a chance to get cheap oil! How can people be so gullible as to think greed has been wiped out on this planet because of GW.

  4. I don't think they really think about it. there are many countries that will continue to use fossil fuels. the two major users of fossil fuels are China and India.

  5. Sure. They would love to be relegated to irrelevancy, and poverty.
