  1. Well, yes school does provides us with knowledge but with that much we need to know the rest one gets along with his or her life as they begin their life.

  2. School doesn't provide us all the knowledge.  I also go to :

    http://www.skool.com

there i am able to get the rest of the answer i need.

  3. School is the first place where you learn to acquire knowledge and it is only the school again which makes you capable to learn many many things in future life and to apply them in practical life  for your good and the good of humanity.

  4. School is an important avenue of organised education, learning and place to impart knowledge. However the education, learning, knowledge, extends to every moment, place and walk of life and acquiring knowledge is a dynamic and never ending part of life.

  5. hi jass ~ i guess school teaches you the way to deal with problems in life... and experience makes you solve them better.... school shows you the way and self learning is like implementing & solving ideas on your own... thanks!

  6. Helloo Jass...

There are 2 types of education..the formal and non-formal education,,formal ed is what we get from schools through our teachers and books we read..informal is what we get from our daily experiences of which all of us are enrolled..the University of Life...there is a saying that experiences are the best teacher but painful sometime. the knowledge we get from our school learning is theoretical only, it becomes wisdom when you have applied it in your daily life. The other ways of learning is through reading...traveling...In reading we learned through our eyes....in traveling , we learned through our feet...both are useful..i hope this helps..

  7. it is  not school provides knowledge and without school we are also not gathering knowlege.school guides how to gather knowledge and we gather knowledge.so both the things are neccessary.

  8. School is important, but there's no way it can provide all the knowledge you will need in life.  It's impossible.  If you only learn what is taught in school, you will miss out on a lot of experiences and information.

School is meant to lay a foundation, to give everyone a basic common set of knowledge.  However, there is so much more out there - life is meant to be experienced, and we are wired to learn every day of it.

  9. good q boss

my personal exp is school provid foundation which we can not realize in school life but after completing our graduation period we realize that what we read in school is important but less in no

i explain u from few example

    i learn calculation in school

in graduation i am using calculate so one might ask why we learn calculation?

    ans is

1 to run a calculator u must know the basic

2 in practical life u r not all ways  provide with calculator

    taking another example

we read lenses concave convex in physics in 11 or 12

but in life we never remember these thing no body think or talk about these concept

but when later stage of life when our eys get week we start using opticals we realise that we read some where concave

so at that stage we realise that school learing helps in life

right now i may not explain u with good example but i will tell u later

some time i bother why our school learning is week

because of only one reason we yes we the people

who never realize practical knowledge and never oppose

  10. school is just one of the factors that influence learning.  most of the things a child may learn come from his interaction with his/her environment. in other words things learned in school constitute only a portion of what you experienced in your everyday living. as the saying goes, 'experience is the best teacher.'

  11. You start learning from the moment you open your eyes.  In fact, you may have started learning before you were born.  School gives you only a fraction of what you will need to know and, hopefully, one of the things it gives you is an increased ability to use your brain to continue teaching yourself new things over the course of your lifetime.

  12. Of course, school does not provide ALL knowledge, but it is extremely important to know that school teaches you many, many things. In school, you learn how to gather and evaluate knowledge. You learn to USE the knowledge that you gain. You learn to work with peers (and co-workers later on in life). School is not just a place to gain knowledge. It is so much more than that.

  13. It is always a two way process. School provides us knowledge, but it depends on individual to apply it to various situations and learn it.

  14. we leatrn as we go along in life

    life experiences

    outside tv, visiting museums etc

    through trial and error

higher eduation plus exsisting knowledgde picked up along the way

school is a basis to build upon

  15. SCHool teaches wats there in the textbook

but only bookish knowledga is not enough to succeed in life t

that is why we need expirience through r ups and downs

  16. We DON'T learn ALL knowledge from school or ALL our learning through self-learning, it is a 50/50 process.

Everyday, regardless of whether or not we realize it, we learn something new that we didn't know before and no matter what the source is, it is still something new that we now know (for example, a child learns something that is right or wrong from his or her parents or through the consequences of his or her actions or if the child is in school, he or she might learn the answer to '1+1', but at the same time, maybe their parents taught them.)

The bottom line is that there is NO ONE PARTICULAR SOURCE we learn from and it is just a matter of what we choose to understand and remember.

<A good example of this is in how you asked your question here...you didn't know the answer, so you chose to ask people online and find an answer...

SEE--YOU LEARNED SOMETHING YOU DIDN'T KNOW BEFORE by reading (which you have learned in school) and by learning (which you self-learned by asking).

  17. SCHOOL PROVIDES US THE BASIC INFRASTRUCTURE  FASCILITIES  SO THAT WE CAN  GROW TO LEARN THINGS  AS WE DESIRES.FOR EXAMPLE WE LEARN THE LANGUAGE  BUT WHAT BOOKS OR TOPIC WE WANT TO/WIL  READ OR LEARN IT  WILL DEPEND  ON US

  18. ya that's true that school provides us knowledge but that knowledge is not sufficient in our daily life in this 21st century so its better that we gain knowledge by ourselves also..............

  19. NO.  The school does not provide men "all knowledge".  The school teaches us what we need to learn about English, Math, Science, Computer, History, etc.  Our teachers teach us generally the concepts of each subject.  At school all we learn are the concepts (which we need to master) so that when we go out of our classrooms we can use those concepts that we have learned.

But, there are many essential lessons in life that can be learned from the environment that we live in and from the people we interact with.

Therefore, it is indeed important that we pay attention to our teachers at school, choose the kind of environment that we want to learn from, and the people that we want to interact with.  It is said that there is wisdom in the company of the old people.  Because from them springs greater wisdom.^^

  20. Absolutely not. We learn a great deal in our everyday life experiences. A college degree not only makes you qualified to do a particular job, but it also is something like a confirmation that you've had experiences. I believe people can be very intelligent without higher education, but that not to get it if one can is not a wise decision this day in age. Knowledge is power!

Someone can take away your home, your job, your family, and even your freedom, but they can never take away your knowledge and education!

  21. yes little bit school try to pour knowledge ...but the way to our self explicit to that knowledge come only within from us....school just help little fr direction but the speed is depend on us for our goal

  22. School teaches foundations and how to learn. It is then up to you to do something with these tools. You learn through life.

  23. We are human beings and learning is the habit of ourselves. We learns from everywhere that can be school or other way . Of course, school is first step of gaining each type knowledge .

  24. ya,every one need a school to learn something,to gain some knowledge.1st thing i think you are confused, better you ask yourself what you want to become,if you dont have a GOAL set it ,best of luck

  25. life experience with bookish and educational knowledge may help us to learn and become more knowledgeable... So,you can say its a solid mixture of bhot!!!

  26. Life is a learning experience, World is like school, and environment is like teacher.

Traditional schools are also very important, esp. when you are young. They get you started on the road of knowledge.

  27. School provides some knowledge, but what it's really suppose to provide is structure and strategy in acquiring  knowledge. That's why schools don't and shouldn't teach 'what we need in today's world.' If they just focused on that, no one would be ready for tomorrow's world. Instead schools should focus on how to learn in the best and most effective possible ways, and then you should spend the rest of your time in the outside world learning those things you really need to know.

  28. School does not provides us all the knowledge. Our socialization starts from our birth and continues till our dealth. Here primary, secondary and tertiary all groups always acknowledges us more new something. Besides this school is a formal institution of providing basic knowledge for forwarding our carrier. But it is not the only medium of providing knowledge.

  29. school provides us the path ..... the facts ... the truth related to life ... but it depends on student to student which path does he choose ...... n also depends on the parents .... and to a lil extent on the school ... !!

  30. Well I think that we can learn from our own experiences but yet, schools have taught us the basics from the beginning.

  31. yes school do provide the knowledge but u shld also need 2 learn through ur experiences (in positive way) and shld even work hard then only u will reach towards ur sucess or goal
