I'm not sure. But i think it could be possible, because it has more potencial customers, and they could manufacture in bigger volumes. buying materials in cheaper prices.

No, They do not sell online for lower prices, they do it for more exposure to the market.

Companies could charge less for the products they sell online, but for the most part they don't because they are able to make money off of it. That is their job.

Yes, because they can use warehouse facilities which specialize in shipping out orders.  They do not need to purchase or lease high priced retail locations.  The logistics of handling an online type of business is more simple and efficient.  These efficiencies increase competitiveness and will decrease prices.

Defiantly mainly because they do not have to pay all the expense that come about from being a retail store. Everything from electricity to paying sales people. I also think that they must have lower costs due to shipping cost because why would you order it from the internet if you could go to a store that has the same price for a particular item.
