Does shaving/waxing ones legs correspond to feminine behavior?

I was just wondering if shaving/waxing ones legs is considered "feminine." As a crossdress, if I want to be accpeted as a female, does this mean that I have to shave my legs? Or, has our society evolved, that we no longer can correlate shaving/waxing ones legs as being feminine?

  1. well, my boyfriend makes fun of me when I do not shave my legs. It is almost always expected. Mostly, I use NAIR. It is quick and I dont get hair bumps from it.

  2. In Western society, leg-shaving is, indeed, consistent with feminine behaviour.

  3. Yes, most women shave.

I have noticed a surge in men shaving their legs. One told me he shaved his legs because he's Puerto Rican. I have no idea what that means. Swimmers shave. Cyclists shave. Whatever. (Boylesque as well. : )

  4. You do whatever you want.  It's feminine behavior if it makes you feel feminine.  And why aren't you posting in LGBT where people give a d**n?

  5. I like to let the hair on my legs grow so long I can backcomb it.  A little gel, a spritz of spray - and I'm ready to dance the night away.  Its the fashion these days.
