Does she have a case?

I sent someone this private message: " Hello Pope Hope. Listen you dirty little !@#$%*. I hope you get raped, mutilated, and then thrown in a river. You are nothing but dirty scum. That's why this little game is dying, and everyone is moving on to !@#$%*. A game not filled with scum like you, and you incompetent moderation staff. I hate sharing the Earth with dirty, filthy idiots like you."

She's now threatening to call my ISP, or take legal action. I never threatened her, just told her I hoped those things happen to her. She also knows one of my family members names, can you find that out using IP adress?

Although your comments are pretty vile, it's nothing more than your opinions.  

There's nothing she can do to you.  The absolute worst thing is that you will most likely be banned permanently from whatever message board site you were on.

If you get out of this one, get some  help.  No reason to treat people like that.  If you don't like them, don't poison yourself by interacting with them.

She probably does have a case, but nothing would likely be done by the police. Well they would WATCH YOU, make sure you don't do anything, but not likely arrest you. Where people get this idea of I can say anything as long as I don't say I am going to do it is beyond me. Anyway with the IP address they could find you(since I doubt that you know how to mask your IP address, which is technically illegal if I am not mistaken). Although I doubt that she would get your IP address, the Courts and your ISP would be able to though.
