  1. No, I think it just spells out what someone can expect in the event of a split.  To say that it is the beginning of the end is wrong.  It's just business.

  2. No, I do not think it makes any difference either way.

Yes, I do think it is wise to have one.

  3. Signing a prenup does not make you destined for divorce. More people should do it.

  4. nope, it neither increases or decreases the chances you will divorce.

  5. Carmen, the problem in finding data on this is that prenuptial agreements are not public records. They are kept from anyone's view until needed in a divorce action, and it is not necessary to tell anyone that there is a prenup for statistical purposes.

Carmen, you have a beautiful avatar. Did you sign a prenup? Would you?

    LOL

    Regards,

    Dan

  6. No! But it might make you think twice before agreeing to marry the person. If anything it would cut down on how many people get married, rather then how many people get a divorce.

  7. My theory is  people who decide they need a pre-nup are people that should not be getting married..If people thought like that, then there would be a major cut back in divorces.

  8. The sad thing is that marriage no longer states "until death do we part" and kids a F'D up because now marriage means my lawyer might be better than yours. The real sad thing is, is that the same lawyers are getting wealthier on the crimes the children of contracted lovers have.

  9. Does having car insurance make it more likely you'll be in an accident?

Does having life insurance make it more likely you'll die sooner?

NO, Its called responsible planning, something more people should do.
