Does silver clash with wrought iron/dark amenities?

I have silver grommet curtain panels so I have to use a silver curtain rod but I really like the dark accents/wrought iron. My kitchen opens to the living room and the cabinet hardware is dark so I figured I should carry that theme into the living room. I don't want to buy new panels since they are practically brand new from our last house...any suggestions?

Instead of bright silver, try pewter or an "antiqued" silver.  It will look great with wrought iron.

try a dark curtain rod. If there's enough dark accents around, then it'll blend in and match just fine. Check Bed Bath & Beyond for a good selection.
