Does sleeping on your side make your back ridged?

  3. Sleeping on ur back is the way to eliminate back pains. But sleeping on ur side does not really do damage to ur body.

    Sleeping on the floor would help back pains.

  7. It's not so much the position, but what you're sleeping on that affects your body.

  9. I always thought sleeping your side was the best way. If you sleep in the fetal or semi-fetal position, it's supposed to be the most natural.

  10. No it does not make the back rigid---the fetal position is highly recommended--use a single pillow to sleep---also use a hard mattress which is good for the back---Not a single  British POW in Japanese camps during WW2 complained of a bad back because they slept on a hard surface!!
