Does smiling release endorphins?

i heard that somewhere. im pretty sure it's right but i need to make sure. and that smiling was good for the universe to? like smiling to a person makes them smile and then it's just like an endorphin filled universe or w.e? am i right? what does smiling help?

When you smile the muscles in your face get pulled, even if the smile is fake, and this muscular activity triggers something in the brain that releases endorfins into your bloodstream, where they travel to every cell in your body. These endorfins are natural pain killers, like narcotics, except they are good for you with no harmful side affects, as opposed to the ones you would buy at the store. I've been doing this for years, and it helps me to get rid of headaches, and chest pains from when I used to be a heavy smoker, and other bad physical pains, as well as being good for me emotionaly.
