  1. the only thing you get from smoking is CANCER,i've smoked for over 30 years and was diagnosed with lung cancer 6 months ago,i'm active with all my children but still wiegh over 200lbs and at this point probably won't live to be a grandfather, let alone my youngest son graduate.TRY DIETING,EATING RIGHT AND EXERCISE!!!!!

  2. nicotine has an appetite surpressing effect on many and it's also a central nervous system stimulant.  it would be one of the worst ways to control the weight, it's not the tobacco but the chemicals that causes cancer, etc.

running has an appetite suppressing effect on many and it also increases cardiovascular performance, it would be a much, much better option to control the weight.

  3. No.

The trouble is that people trying to stop tend to snack & put on weight.

  4. no it does not make you thin, what it does is suppress your appatirie, for a time tricking your brain and body to its not hungry anymore, but as far as it helping makeing you thin.it does not

  5. smoking takes away your appetite so you dont eat as much, it isnt healthy so i DO NOT reccomend it AT ALL

  6. Why, yes it does. After you have contracted any one of the numerous types of cancer that smoking causes, and most of your flesh has been eaten away by it, then yes, you will be very thin.

  7. i've that among the rat poison and other various poisonous chemicals in the cigarettes, there is something that supresses your appetite. I've also heard that that is not true. I've also heard that when people eat they just get out of the habit of eating food excessively when they are bored, for example.

But I do know that once people quit smoking they tend to lose weight because they are used to have something going from their hands to their mouth so they eat more and gain weight.

  8. Try chewing sugar free gum, you get the same oral fixation and it won't kill you.

The dangers of nicotine smoking far outweigh trying to keep a few pounds off.

Not too mention its expensive, I smoked for 10 years and have quit for 5 and wish I had that money (and probably a couple years of my life) back!

There are so many healthy ways to stay thin, instead of reaching for a cigarette, grab a celery stick.

  9. yes it does but it has some side effects

wrinkly skin, terrible breath, bad smelling clothes and house, not being able to do physical activities (so you just gain more weight) cancer, terring families apart, and last but not least death

  10. i will make you thin but it is bad for you

  11. what the Duncan Henderson guy said exactly.  it doesn't make you thin.     there is a tendency to gain weight when you quit, but just a tendency.

  12. No it doesn't. It makes you depend on smoking to relieve stress and you know what happens when you're not smoking? You eat more. That's how it works.

  13. no there is plenty of fat smokers about

  14. Smoking makes you thin, but only because tobacco products eat you alive from the inside out.
