  1. yes, any kind of juice will make you healthier, but if you're congested i'd say tea or hot cocoa, and if you have an upset stomach, DON'T DRINK MILK.  If you do have an upset stomach, eat crackers and drink 7UP.

[7up always tastes better out of a purple straw =]

  2. Yep, get chugging.

  3. If there's an upset stomach involved, go for some ginger ale. Ginger is a natural gut soother, I like Canada Dry's Sparkling Greet tea Ginger Ale - quite healthy!

  4. I don't think it matters whether the OJ is smooth or pulp-y. Just drink lots of fluids, and you'll be fine.

  5. ANY citrus juice has lots of Vitamin C (orange, grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine).  I'd think that the pulp would add even more Vitamin C to it, too

  6. Warm drinks are better to drink during a cold.  You know the stuff, warm chicken noodle soup, warm tea, warm coffee, warm broth.  It soothes your throat, helps clear up a clogged nose and just makes you feel better.

Of course orange juice will quench your thirst, but doesnt feel as good.

  7. yes it will help

  8. Yes, any intake of vitamin C will help your body fight off viruses.  Taking it regularly can help prevent colds and other diseases, too.  I like Welch's 100% grape juice myself.

  9. In the words of my Jewish Mother..."it couldn't hurt"

  10. I don't know this for sure, but I doubt it will help relieve your cold or make you better faster. Rather, by drinking (or otherwise consuming) enough Vitamin C on a daily basis probably helps to prevent an onset of a cold in the first place. Although, as with all vitamins and supplements, this benefit of Vitamin C is not 100% proven, it's probably been through enough scrutiny, that there is some validity.

  11. Vitiamin C in the orange juice will help.  It doesn't matter if there is pulp in it or not.
