Does soda rot through aluminum?

Question

I collect soda stuff and I have some unopened games fuel mountain dew cans and I wanted to know how long they'll last unopened....will the soda rot through or rust the can after a couple of years or will they last forever?

Aluminum is unreactive which is why they are used for soda cans. Don't worry, your collection won't rust.

First of all soda does not rot......
